Hi I tried calling Johny Debt on the phone number advertise on the website. But in each case it was the wrong number. I had a repossesion hearing yesterday and eviction is set at 28 days. the judge said that i have no right of appeal. what does that mean? Does that mean I can use th N244?

Hi Lela,

Thanks for your call. Just a couple of questions, I appreciate it is difficult for you at the moment -

Can you let us know if you have any unsecured debt? We also need to know if Kensington are the only secured lender on the property. Please advise if there is a second or third charge also.

Do you have a further offer for the house purchase that could be presented to stop the eviction?

Please post your answers.

I will speak direct to Johnny Debt overnight and return your call first thing in the morning.

Hi Debbie,

thanks for the answer on the forum.  I thought no one was listening.  My lender is rooftop and problem is i am a bad payer for reasons that the judge refused to listen.

I would prefer to remort as obviously the ltv is better compared to the bridge but the judge seems to take a dislike on me.  He also said that i can not appeal whatever that means.

Hi Lela,

Decide what you want to do overnight - do can either re-mortgage and pay the arrears back to Kensington.Remember that your mortgage repayments will increase considerably.

Or you can let it be purchased by someone aelse and you pay less rent - effectivley no-one need know of your difficulties.

To stop the eviction the mortgage offer by either a remortgage or from a quick purchase property company will suffice. You do have 28 dyas to sort this out and a deal can be sorted in this short period for you to stop the eviction.

I think this may also be a case of talking to the lender direct.

If we can offer a solution, and send the lender evidence of the solution proposed they may just hold off??

Hi Lela,

A bit of confusion on the replies on the posts here! We sorted it out. We need to know what you have outstanding on your mortgage to repay and if you have any secured second and third charges aswell.

What do you think is the market value of your house if it were to be sold?

Please inform us of the details and we will know who to forward you to for help.

Kind Regards
