To many the idea of finding a mobile phone contract can be a daunting issue, so do you go for a mobile phone with a contract or get a sim free mobile phone and pay as you go?

Personally I would go for a PAYG but that is my own opinion - coming from a mobile engineering background it is easy for me to see why.

Why pay for line rental when you only use the phone to answer calls or make 10-15 calls a day even up to 50 calls a day at less than 30seconds duration may be more beneficial if you PAYG, that way you may only use about £20 per month on calls. On the other hand having a contract has some benefits - new handset towards the end of the contract, free minutes and texts are also a bonus but watch the small print before you sign ANY new contract.

Through my audit services I have identified two great sites for all members where benefits for having either a contract or Sim free mobile are better than  if you were to head down the high street.

www.globalmobile.2u.co.uk (mobile phones with contracts, insurances etc)

http://www.dialaphone.co.uk/buyat3/?lid=findmyheatinoil - if you want a payg phone (please note I HAVE registered with this site for discounts to you)
