Did you know that they calculate your Water and Drainage rates by the ratable value of your home.
Regarding your Water Rate...If you have a 4 bedroom house but, like me, only 2 people live there, then you can apply to your Water supplier for a rebate because they class a 4 bedroom as having at least one person living in the house for each bedroom, so by that, they calculate the water usage, say, one bath per person a day, so you are OVER paying for water not used.
Regarding Drainage/Waste going through the drains.
If you have Soak-Ways, then the water goes into the ground and NOT the Drainage..Plus there are 2 peoples waste less...so you can also claim a rebate for that HAS WELL as your water.
