What another superb Rhino meeting!!

Firstly The Riviera Hotel was fantastic – great location – excellent service – superb food.

Thank you to all those who attended.

The Divorce Coach - Kirsten Gronning; Gave an excellent talk about divorce and other services that they offer. I can see this being rolled out across the UK.

Cartel - Teresa Ravenscroft; This held the audiences attention, as we learnt how the organisation can reduce/eliminate/compensation for credit cards, loans, mortgages etc.

JD LAW – Gave us a good insight into how they negotiate secured debt. Also how they can offer solutions to the vendor with regards to un-secured debts.

Johnny Debt – How Full & Final Settlements and Dept Management Plans can help as part of a final debt solution.

7Days2Exchange – Jamie Moodie, gave us an excellent insight into all the problems and solutions surrounding the Home Rescue business.

Richard Sheppard – Also took to the floor and gave us an insight into how the current property/mortgage crisis was affecting the Home Rescue business.

Black Star – Bea Gallimor, not only showed us what we should be doing with our money when we make the big time. We also had a greater understanding on how planning now will help us get more later.

Once again thanks to our speakers, guests and hotel, for making it a great day!

I nearly forgot to mention………..during the meeting an eviction was taking place!! The bailiffs were on the doorstep. 7Days2Exchange (Jamie) was in and out of the meeting, on the phone trying to negotiate. The deal was being lost!! However a quick chat with Debbie from JD LAW, a solution was found and the eviction was stopped!!

Huge Value in Networking often under estimated or missed all together!

I did consider at the last minute the long drive to Bournemouth, the people who wouldn't turn up, whats in it for me WIIFM? the cost in time etc.   As  Johnny mentioned we were able to reverse the decision of a not very helpful lender to stop an eviction on the day only with the expert advice of Debbie. I am certain without me being there and speaking to Debbie about this it would have been last and a young lady would have been homeless, lost her house and substantial equity.  The value is sometimes so unseen when we are considering a day away from the front line and can we be bothered or will there be a useful contact there are sometimes the questions in our minds.  When we go into any environment and have some pretty focused business and personal outcomes, it is amazing who you connect with and what value there is there. BUT - AND have we considered the impact we have on an environment through our knowledge and how that puts us on a pedastool amongst the other providers of our services. I have since meeting Johnny and Debbie (they are like a couple to me) had the utmost faith in them and now refer them to everyone, such is the impact they have had on me and the value they have added to me and my business. The message in networking is how much value can I/you add to a group of people so they attain the sort of trust in you to refer only you to opportunities. Debbie, wonderful and thanks again xx

A wee story for you to brighten the day and sharpen the mind.

I had a sale and rent back lead come in at 1730 last night 12/05, a man in Aldershot was about to see his house, business and finance go belly up as he and his wife are starting to struggle with a secured debt and mortgage since the wife stopped working. He has a business product he is selling to the NHS and its taking longer to get it accepted and adopted than he estimated (anyone surprised.....thought not)

He wanted me to rescue his home, rent it to him for six years and then sell it back to him. The deal was impossible due to high BTL mortgage rates and rental comparables, I couldnt help him do THAT.

His beautiful 3 bed bungalow was worth £400k his mortgage £1200 pcm ands sec debt £400 pcm and he couldnt cope.

I then said who else lives in the home, he said just my wife and I

I said heres what you do, (remembering a Polish couple that left and HMO I have in Aldershot 3 weeks ago only to ask for their room back last week but I had already let it.) you let your second room out to a lovely couple I know for £500 a month and Bobs your uncle! He said, wow I'd never thought of that.

I got on the mobile whilst he was on the office phone and brokered their meeting and viewing of the house for today and BOB is your uncle,  both parties are delighted and got exactly what they wanted and needed and I have two more lifelong supporters.

Solutions are not always obvious but they are always there
