i'm in a debt plan at the moment, have been paying £120.00 for 5months, and am just in the process of going bankrupt.  I rent a small house and am desperate to get a mortgage again, does anyone know what my chances would be?

Thats interesting as I have just been discharged from bankruptcy, well about a year ago, and I earn pretty good money now and I want to see if I can obtain a mortgage again to purchase a new home with my new girl.

Does anyone know where/who can help me?

In the current climate, I think your biggest problem will be your credit rating. Certainly your Bankruptcy will sit on your credit file for the next six years.

I would suggest though that regardless of the outcome you do start now to repair and improve your credit rating.

I have contacted a mortgage broker to look at this post to tell you how the situation is today.
