 - or has it??

It would appear that this letter shows that a debt is no longer enforceable so legally they can not pursue the debt - I wonder if they will still collect? I will let you know.

Thats great news - whilst we are on the subject I have attempted to retrieve a signed copy of an agreement I had with HSBC for a credit card - they are saying that they need not supply this under Regulation 3 (2) (b) of the Consumer Credit Regulations 1983. I checked this out with the Financial Ombudsman and they say that in the case of credit agreements, the required information is:-

nature of the agreement, parties to the agreement, key financial information, - APR, total amount payable, other financial information inc a description and cash price of goods or services, any advance payments, total charge for credit, rate of interest, key information inc security provided by the borrower, and also a signature box.

so a signature box is required, however HSBC are adamant that this is not required,

Good things is tho, cos we're in dispute they cannot force payment or take me to court.

Does anybody have any other ideas or anyway of obtaining this sort of info?

Ref the above letter: since receiving this letter, no payments have been made. To date nobody is chasing! I wonder if this is now dead or will NatWest sell it on for someone else to try and chase?
