According to a source of mine today the number of bankruptcy's is expected to rise to 140 a day in england and wales during 2008 compared to 100 a day in 2007.

I have no idea how accurate this is but given the state of the current economic climate and the ability to borrow money becoming increasingly difficult then this information, if it's true, will come as no surprise.

Hi Gary,

With the start of 2008, I have seen the number of 'clients' rise considerably with them considering bankruptcy.

In comparison to an IVA that could be a maximum of 5 years, it does seem a wise choice if the advantages and disadvantages are considered carefully.

I can only see that bankruptcy's will rise in 2008.

Kind Regards
