I have taken the unusual step of removing an entire discussion from this site. The discussion has been running for something over 18 months and mainly concerned the debt collecting company NDR Ltd and the behaviour of the people who ran it.

The people concerned now face criminal charges and at some point the matter will go to trial. There is, therefore, a chance (probably small) that this long thread might fall foul of sub-judice or contempt issues with regard to that trial.

I have, therefore, decided to pull the entire thread. If anyone wants to chat about my decision or some of the general issues when this sort of thing happens on a forum - well we have a Chat topic for just that. However, from now on, I am going to have to withdraw any postings which might relate to matters that are the subject of the criminal trial.

NDR have surrendered their CCL to the OFT 18th April 2006.

10th May 2006 creditors meeting being called at Crawfords Chartered accountants in Manchester at 11:00AM

The OFT are now advising that if your complaint is for :-

Upfront fee paid for debt to be collected,but no service performed.

Upfront fee paid and monies collected,but none or only a small part has been passed onto the client.
