I met a representative from Debt Advice UK by chance and thanks goddness I did. Our family business was struggling and my self and my parents had chucked as much money at it as possible from both savings and by increasing loans and using credit cards. Debt advice Uk's help was incredible, they sorted everything out for us, we went into the debt management plans, they negotiated a settlement figure on the business loan, meaning our house could be sold properly rather than repossessed. Through out all of this everyone was so supportive, all they asked was that we were honest about the situation. I would recommend to anyone if you have money problems call Debt Advice UK, be straight up with your situation and they will help you.

I too also found a debt management a beneficial to me also. It was good because it too the stress away from worrying about debt which effected my personal life and now I finally feel in control.

The debt management services also negotiate with the client's creditors and obtain better deals for him than he could have got himself. As a debt management service provider, they have a much greater leverage to convince the bank than individuals who had loaned money. Negotiations can lead to friendlier repayment terms which are suitable for the client. Otherwise dragging the entire thing to the bankruptcy court doesn't help either the bank or the individual.
